HISTORY

HOW IT ALL BEGAN! 1999-2004

February 9th, 1999 Nancy and I purchased the land that our cabin sits on. After a winter of drawing plans estimating costs and timelines, spring brought us another task... building the barge to move the materials. I promised Nancy that after 3 years if she didn't like what we had accomplished I sell the whole works. The photo deck below walks you through the five year history of building the cabin, photo by photo.

This is a photo essay of 300 images. At 1 second per photo it will take 5 minutes to see what took 5 years to build. Each photo is part of the story, it you want to stop and read the words of an image, click or touch the screen on the double dash marker in the lower right hand corner. If you wish to read all of them or peruse the images at your own speed, just chick on the photo to control the speed manually.
