From first glimpsed Lake Vermilion is a pristine beauty. Stretching out over 35 miles east to west this meandering body of water includes 350 islands larger than an acre. But getting to the lake is just the first part of the journey. You then have to travel by water six and a half miles before stand on the dock of Bogie's Buzzard Bay Lodge.
