This year we celebrate 24 summers of memories at the cabin. Great stories that evolve from a guest list that numbers over 250 visitors and family. All the while we've stayed true to our original premise of sharing. As the photo in the first blog says, "A cabin's worth can only be measured in memories".

Our goal is to journal the great stories of the past 24 summers, recreating and embellishingthe old then adding the new as we go. Beside this we will chronicle Lake Vermilion's wildlife, natural beauty, fishing, birding, weather, whatever happens to get in our way. From our “Cabin Log Book” we will outline the trials and tribulations of an "off the grid" cabin owner adding the guest’s own words as punctuation. All illustrated with beautiful photography and an occasional video.
